Terms of Service

1. Description of Service

Digikadi is a digital event invitation and management platform. It allows event organizers to create events, design and send digital invitation cards, track guest lists and RSVPs, and verify attendee entry using QR codes, across our website, web app, and mobile app.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, to create a Digikadi account. By registering, you represent that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at info@digikadi.co.tz if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

4. Your Responsibilities as an Event Organizer

If you use Digikadi to create events and invite guests, you are solely responsible for the accuracy of your event details and for the guest contact information (names, phone numbers, email addresses) you upload or enter.

You confirm that you have the lawful right and, where required, the consent of each guest to share their contact details with us and to have Digikadi contact them by SMS, WhatsApp, or email on your behalf for the purpose of that event. You must not upload guest data you are not authorized to share.

5. Payments & Ticketing

Digikadi is a management and verification tool — it does not itself process, collect, or hold payments on behalf of organizers or attendees. Any ticket sale, pledge, or payment arrangement between an organizer and an attendee happens directly between those parties, outside the Service. Any payment amounts you record in Digikadi are for your own bookkeeping only; we do not guarantee, mediate, or take responsibility for such transactions or disputes arising from them.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to send spam, fraudulent, or misleading communications;
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes another person's rights;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or scrape the Service; or
• Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with one.

7. Intellectual Property

Digikadi and its software, branding, and design are owned by Brandbox Company Limited and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of the event content you create, but you grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit that content solely to provide the Service to you.

8. Third-Party Services

We rely on third-party providers to deliver SMS, WhatsApp, and email messages. We do not guarantee the delivery, timeliness, or availability of these third-party services and are not liable for outages or failures caused by them.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time — in the mobile app via Profile → Delete Account, or by emailing info@digikadi.co.tz. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or engage in unlawful activity.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or uninterrupted or error-free operation.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Brandbox Company Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for disputes, losses, or payment issues arising between event organizers and their guests. Our total liability arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount, if any, you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Brandbox Company Limited harmless from any claim or demand, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your misuse of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any right of a third party (including a guest whose data you uploaded without authorization).

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the app or on this page, and the "Last updated" date above will be revised accordingly. Continued use of the Service after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
